Welcome!

We are excited to share with you some of our thoughts, ideas, and adventures in first grade.  We are two First Grade teachers, riding the waves (and creating a few of our own) in the midwest.  While we love "teaching first grade," we have a passion and drive to do more than "teach" content.  We want to truly make an impact on the students (and families) we teach.  We want our students to learn about respect, perseverance, generosity, bravery, and wisdom.  We want our students to make a difference in their school and community, one small action at a time.  We want our students to see the power and influence they can have through education and action.
