About Mrs. Roller
I am proud to be a teacher! I teach first grade students at an exceptional elementary school where I am blessed to work with some of the finest educators in the world. How do I know that’s true? Because I would be honored to have them teach my own children. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree from South Dakota State University in Brookings and my Master’s Degree from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. I received my teaching certification from Black Hills State University in Spearfish. This will be my tenth year teaching first grade at a truly amazing school with outstanding colleagues. We have approximately 600 students in kindergarten through fifth grade and nearly 75 staff members. Some of my hobbies include reading, photography, scrapbooking, and researching the World War II era. I am married to an understanding and patient man who is an aviation fanatic. I have three beautiful children, two boys, ages 5 and 3, and a girl, almost 2. I am also proud to have a gorgeous Samoyed, Saydee, as part of our family.
