I have taught 1st grade for 5 years at an awesome school in an awesome city. I am lucky to work with some of the best educators in the field. With nearly 600 hundred students at my awesome elementary school, we have a large staff...which makes for a large family. I am proud to be a Knight!
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 2006 from Black Hills State University. In 2010 I earned my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist from the University of Sioux Falls. Sometime in the near (or distant) future, I will pursue my National Board Certification.
I married my best friend in 2009 on a quiet beach in Jamaica. Our lives have never been that calm since...and we love every minute of it. We are practicing our future parenting skills on 2 curious cats, Penny and Junebug and 1 mischievous hamster, Snowball (a.k.a. my class pet).
